This medication is used to treat skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, allergies, and rash. Mometasone decreases swelling (inflammation), itching, and redness. Mometasone is a medium-strength corticosteroid.
Elocon Mometasone Furoate Cream/Ointment

Each gram of cream/ointment contains mometasone furoate 1 mg

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
A thin film of Elocon cream/ointment should be applied to the affected skin areas once daily. Do not use occlusive dressing.
Apply a few drops of Elocon cream lotion to the affected skin once daily, and massage gently and thoroughly until the medication disappears.
