DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

• Palenox gel should be applied to areas of acne-prone skin, once a day at night before going to bed and after washing/cleaning. Apply it to form a thin layer, avoiding the eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. If in contact with eyes, wash immediately with warm water. Make sure the area of skin is dry before being given medication.
• In the first weeks of therapy, worsening/exacerbation of acne can occur. This is due to the action of the drug on lesions that were not previously seen and not a reason to stop therapy.
• It has become a habit to switch therapies in the treatment of acne, it is recommended that doctors evaluate the improvement of the patient’s disease after 3 months of treatment with adapalene gel.
• In patients who need reduction, frequency of use, or interruption of treatment, the frequency of use can be returned to normal or continued therapy if it has been assessed that the patient tolerates treatment again.
